Moon Night Gray & Gold Orb Chandelier by Currey & Co.
Space-inspired forms pepper Hiroshi Koshitaka’s lighting designs — orbs are nods to planets and spirals represent the swirling universes that spin in far-away realms. The Moon Night Gray & Gold Orb Chandelier is one of the former; the steel ribs in a Hiroshi Gray finish holding metal squares in the same finish intermingled with astutely placed gold confetti-like squares. This gray chandelier has an environmentally friendly slant, as the shapes welded to the frame are made from scrap metal that would have ended up in landfills. This move of staying mindful is infused in Koshitaka’s soulful outlook, which he manifests in each of his designs.
