📦 Mornings: Designing, Deliveries, and Prepping for the Day

Since our doors open at noon, mornings are my chance to get a jumpstart. I spend this time offsite at client homes doing in-home design consultations or sourcing special pieces. Back at the store, you’ll often find me at the back counter area—part gift wrap station, part mood board workspace, part treasure chest of new arrivals—finalizing displays, receiving deliveries, and putting finishing touches on seasonal setups. It's a calm but productive window to set the stage for the day ahead.

🧰 Midday Magic: Doors Open, Customers In

When noon hits, the real energy kicks in. The store comes to life as we greet customers, wrap gifts, and help shoppers find the perfect piece to complete their home. I’m constantly moving—restyling vignettes as items sell, answering design questions, and finding that just-right item someone didn’t even know they needed. Helping a customer light up when they find “the one” is still my favorite part of every day.

☕ Afternoon Rhythm: Coffee, Creativity, and Client Care

As the afternoon unfolds, I take a quick coffee break and walk through the store again, tweaking displays, refreshing candles (Capri Blue Volcano is still our go-to scent), and checking in with design clients or vendor partners. This is also my creative zone—sketching new design ideas, planning seasonal themes, and thinking about what’s next for the store.

🌇 Wrapping Up: Planning for Tomorrow

Evenings are slower, giving me time to catch up on emails, respond to design inquiries, and plan ahead. I’ll usually tidy up the store, restock popular pieces, and schedule social media content. It’s a little hectic at times, but the joy of seeing our vision come to life—piece by piece, day by day—makes it more than worth it.
